DOES WTO NOT CONCERN EDUCATION?

Quite a number of people take our membership of WTO as the business of the government.

However, confronted with WTO & the challenge in educational field, we have to take the following factors into account:

Firstly, education is indeed one essential part of WTO, which is facing a series of new challenge & new opportunities now; Secondly, as a service trade, from basic education to higher & adult education,its open service has been on the way of continuous & enlarging development, and a global open market is coming into being; thirdly, education is an industry. The very aim of WTO is to ensure all kinds of educational products & establishments a conditional access to the market.

In short, WTO does ooncern education.
